THREE PAGES UPLOADED!!! (make sure you go back and see them!)
somehow or another, i managed to get my schoolwork done early (yeah, homeshchoolers!) and get myself really excited about the comic. so excited, that i'm putting aside all other personal projects to work on the comic pages. and look- more characters and interaction, a dragon (yay!), elf, wierd yellow glowy magic guy without a nose or mouth or ears, and backrounds that came out about how i wanted them to! (the grey stuff on the wall and floor is my attempt at marble, btw) i can't wait to bring in the final three main characters in a few pages- between them and Iavar, character interaction is about the funnest thing ever! but the way i figure it, this chapter will probably go about 47 (or slightly fewer) pages. some of those should be fairly easy to do, so i'm hoping to update with a couple pages a week when it comes to those.
a few questions for y'all-
is it just me, or does Unknown remind you of a fish? lol real question is- can you guess what period of historical men's fashion his clothes are inspired by?
and, what do you think Iavar's answer is and why? (i'm really curious to see what you think)
and... it's looking like i may be able to update extra next week too. would you rather i upload all the pages on saturday, or post them as i finish them? cuz i don't care.
and if you see any grammar/spelling/punctuation errors, please let me know so i can fix them! (so much text- i didn't bother to put it thru spellcheck)
replies: Kt my dear little sister, whatever shall i do with you? i only ask you to comment b/c all week you annoy me about when i'm going to post the next page, and then you don't say anything about it once i do. :P
thank you thank you Theorah- maybe i just spent too much time staring at the same page. :( they have to keep it well organized, and you'll see why at the beginning of the next chapter.
yeah Sed- her kind is aquatic. i'll bet you couldn't figure out what villian from a fairly recent and very popular trilogy with a slightly different color scheme inspired her kind! :D (and if u still need more hints...)
omg so many pages, this big update made me very happy! I cant get enough of this comic, yum =3
I love this glowy-guy, no wonder the city is so well organized, I feel like hes all knowing-enlightened, so cool!
also, lol go figure that he wouldnt trust Reanin to go on his own, wasnt he lost in that forest at the beginning as well? XD with that in mind, answering your question, I figure Iavar would say 'yes' and think to himself 'what would this guy do without me, anyway'? XD
I said '19th century' on the previous page, but it has a hint of 18th century with the cool big collars too =3
i like Lord Unknown's talking bubble! what do you mean he looks like a fish? how could he? he doesn't even have a mouth! what time period? well Lord U looks like Mr. Darcy but i don't know about the other ones. i think Iavar is going to say "Well why not?! All the other times Reanin got lost we somehow meet again. It'll save me a lot of trubble if i gust go with him." (that means yes) ;-) and i think you should post them as so as you get done with them. it'll make my week more fun.
