Iavar doesn't greet very many people like this. But then, most people aren't that enthusiastic to see him either.... Introducing Rhinnia. Concidering Iavar's reaction, she's special. Quite simply, she's that character that you can always depend on to hold the world together, and I REALLY hope I can get that across in the later pages. Btw- she is fully elf, but her coloring just happened to look more human than the other elves thus far. And if anyone can suggest what colors go well with orangey-yellowy-pink, for sanity's sake let me know!
And oh do I wish yesterday had been another Thursday! This has been quite the crazy week, highlighted by another cousin being born a few days ago (Mattai Eric, first boy of a three girl family) and a baby shower today for someone in our church who is expecting sometime in January. The shower is a really cute Hawaiian theme, because the baby's mother is Hawaiian. It looks great, at least, but I'm rather beat. On the other hand, Thanksgiving is weeks away, and after that is Christmas! Cue the holiday rush of madness!! (I can't believe it's that time of year again already!) Btw- someone slap me if I say "Happy Holidays" cuz that is one of my biggest pet peeves right now. Political correctness my foot. It's "Merry Christmas" or nothing for me. [/rant that could have been much longer]
Comments! Thanks for your comments, everyone!
Theorah- those two are quite the characters and generally wear their emotions on their sleeves. They're fun. :)
Jedigal- is that the one by Scott McCloud?
Daidaishar- Haha, I think you're right. Iavar is too easily annoyed for his own good, I think.
Iavar's got a specialfriend how sweet! :) congrats on your new cousin. And the book is actually by( forgets his name) a very famous guy in the comic book world. He writes for the Incredible Hulk and other marvel charaters, and even a few of his own. Anyways, it was nice seeing Iavar all happy and not annoyed at something XD.
